Perimeter Internetworking Acquires US Networks Inc
Milford, CT -- October 6, 2005 - Perimeter Internetworking -- a provider of managed network and security services for community financial institutions, healthcare companies, service providers and other businesses -- announced their acquisition of the assets of U.S. Networks Inc, a managed network and security services provider headquartered in Raleigh, NC.
Forming a combined client base of over 1600, this merger enables the two companies to unite their expertise in both managed network and security services and create a broader spectrum of services for clients.
The US Network acquisition is Perimeter's 5th acquired company in 2 years. Additionally, Perimeter was ranked 121 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, 5th on The Connecticut Technology Fast 50 in 2004, and 7th on CRN's Fastest Growing Security Solutions Providers, and has been profitable for the last three years.
