Verano announced two new additions to the companies marketing team: Todd Nicholson and Chris Martin. Nicholson will assume the role of chief marketing officer for Verano and be responsible for brand management, corporate communications and marketing, product marketing and market positioning. Senior Director for Industrial Defender Marketing, Chris Martin, joins Verano with almost 18 years of experience in high technology marketing with 13 of those in the process automation industry, with control systems vendors such as GE Fanuc, Honeywell and Intellution.
Chuck Lennon, president of TeamLogic IT — a nationwide network of IT maintenance and repair companies — announced the appointment of Richard Hall as Director of Operations.
Securent has named former Netegrity sales executive, Carmen Parisi, as its vice president of sales. In this role, Parisi is responsible for market development for the company’s application entitlement management products through direct sales, and indirect channel and reseller programs.
Sophos, a world leader in IT security and control, announced that it has appointed Paul Smolinski to chief financial officer, global operations. Smolinski will drive business growth via mergers and acquisitions, as well as capital markets access.
